Gallery Room
This room has a fireplace at each end of the room, and can seat up to 80 people.
Terrace
Accessible from both the Gallery Room and the Café this original ornate terrace overlooks the Fountain Lawn with steps down to the grounds.
Sofa Room
Oak panelling and a huge open fireplace make this a wonderful reception room – with, as you imagine, giant sofas to relax into.
Oak Room
With a large bay window this oak panelled room overlooks the terrace and ornamental pond and easily accommodates up to 12 people for meetings or seminars.
Zodiac Room
With its beautiful ornate ceiling, featuring the signs of the zodiac, this lovely room is ideal for smaller meetings or events, seating up to 10.
Gun Room
Ideally suited for small meetings and intimate events this room can accommodate up to 8 people and, as the name implies, still has the walnut gun cabinets from days when Sherfield was part of a hunting estate.
Old Library
This delightful room with its wooden panelling will seat up to 50.
Sherfield Café
With French windows that open out on to the terrace, you can enjoy this relaxing atmosphere.
Dining Room
With space for up to 180 dining guests or double the number for a standing occasion the Dining Room is the largest room within the main house.
Courtyard Studio : Wynstow Suite
A glass vaulted ceiling is a unique feature of the former stable block which is now a wonderful venue for civil ceremonies where wedding guests can number up to 120.
Liddell Room
Individually and uniquely carved wood panelled walls with views over the Fountain Lawn this room can accommodate up to 70 guests.
Buckfield Suite
For large events, Buckfield Suite can accommodate up to 350 guests and can house an indoor marquee if required.
Grounds
If you wish to host a large event, we have 75 acres of manicured lawns and woodland including a lake. Marquees can be erected to seat 350+.
